Elvis Through the Ages

It has come to my attention that some Russian hackers are using these images as a lure to link to their domain services site...

What a bunch of tools... the least that they could do is PAY ME!

This is a personal exercise incorporating the depiction
of a contemporary cultural icon and distinct eras in the
history of painting. All paintings were done in oils at a
size of  8"x10".

Good Friday

My house is silent today... quiet except for the ticking of the clock.
A soft, muffled roll of thunder fills the low gray clouds. They span the entire sky as if in attempt to silence the entire world.
It is Good Friday... it is fitting.

My Lord, my God! What have you done? ...for me? ...for us?
...and I remember something you said; I remember something I read...
'Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.'

You knew, yet you followed through. You could have stopped it at any time. You had the power to do so.
...Yet you had the Father's will and took a knee and bowed to Him.
... as i now take a knee before You, and bow my head to You, my Lord... and offer you my feeble thanks.

Scratched From Dreams (Short Story Anthology)

I write from time to time... short stories, comics, graphic novels, and a "real" novel. Over the past year, I put together a few books. One of them, "Scratched From Dreams", is a short story collection.

The following images come from one of the stories in the collection... "Alma Goes Out".
